Eco-Me Announces Newest Members of their 100 PERCENT Natural Products family,
and continues ridding the environment and consumers of chemical based ingredients.
PASADENA, CA (December 2008) – In 2006, Robin Levine determined she would find a way to help consumers escape the chemicals found in household products. She had inspiration on her side (her sister has been diagnosed with breast cancer), and the natural drive to make it work. The idea began with ingredients found in her kitchen, and became clear solutions for cleaning, body care and pet care. Eco-Me home, body, baby and pet care kits make it possible for anyone to mix the appropriate amount of baking soda, oil, water and vinegar to create various 100 percent natural cleaning products. The result was beyond Robin’s expectations and it seemed only natural she would find a way to be the first to hit the market with a pre-mixed product. In two short years, she’s reached the next step.
As a result of the runaway success of Eco-Me kits, and in response to consumer and retailer demand, the company has taken the same recipes, using simple household ingredients, and pre-mixed them for retail ready to use products. The new collection is a family of products: Bill the All Purpose Cleaner, Kate the Wood Polish and Emily the Scrub Cleanser. Each family member has a “personality”
· Bill by Eco-Me is strong on dirt, and gentle on surfaces, appropriate for counter tops, tile, vinyl, stone, glass, mirrors.
· Kate by Eco-Me cleans and polishes sealed wood surfaces, appropriate for floors, furniture and cabinetry.
· Emily by Eco-Me is a natural scrub with no hard abrasives, appropriate for counters, sinks, toilets, tubs, stove tops, ovens, tile, grout, pots, pans.
“I started Eco-Me as a grassroots movement to educate everyone around me because I felt lied to about the safety of the products we use every day. It was personal,” says Robin. “As my small business grew, and more people heard the truth about what really goes into standard products, it became clear I needed to commit to making my initial idea appealing to a broader range of consumers. I knew mixing the products yourself wasn’t for everyone, so I was determined to create a pre-mixed product out of the same ingredients.”
All Eco-Me premixed cleaning products are clinically tested to be safe and effective, eliminate 98 percent of bacteria in 60 seconds, remove odor and dirt.
