Dec. 1, 2008 - PRLog -- ForeignTRADEX (http://www.ForeignTradeExchange.com), a division of US-based Industrial Leaders Group and publisher of the World Trade Forum announced this morning the launch of its new industrial trade reports for American industrial suppliers seeking to enter or expand in Slovenia, Lithuania and Austria. The company indicated the new publications are designed specifically for U.S. manufacturers and exporters of industrial supplies, equipment, raw materials machine tools and other manufacturing and engineering products.

The Industrial Trade Reports are located at:

According Candice Murray, spokeswoman for the World Trade Forum, the publications serve as international trade guides for industrial suppliers based in the United States interested in developing a customer base in Europe with emphasis on Austria, Slovenia and Lithuania. Murray said ForeignTRADEX published the reports because it believes the three countries are profitable markets for American manufacturers and exporters of machine tools and other industrial goods serious about developing or re-establishing trading partnerships overseas.

"Manufacturers in America have been experiencing extensive competition in the global industrial marketplace from China, Japan and other Asian countries over the last few decades and they need to re-focus their exporting efforts and business approach," says Murray. She explained, "U.S. manufacturers are facing more competition from Asia than ever before at home as well as abroad and they can no longer afford not to increase their global competitiveness if they wish to sustain their revenues and workforce."

"It's common knowledge that lower priced suppliers from Asia are one of the major reasons for the decrease in sales and revenues for U.S. manufacturers and exporters of industrial goods," stated Murray. She added, "Although American manufacturers continue to focus heavily on producing the most innovative products and technologies in the industrial marketplace, which has always been an advantage for U.S. exporters, studies have shown even that is no longer enough to compete with low priced competitors."

ForeignTRADEX believes American manufacturers need to create other competitive advantages in markets such as Austria, Slovenia and Lithuania. The company said there is always room for U.S. manufacturers to improve their lean manufacturing approach and perhaps even going green can deliver the advantages they need in today's industrial marketplace. "Indeed, the environment is increasingly becoming important to industrial buyers and is often a major factor in their buying decision," says Donald LaBelle, CEO of Industrial Leaders.
