Atmospheric Water Generator is a humidity and temperature driven machine that extracts water from air. This means the machine depends on the level of humidity in the air and the temperature to produce pure drinking water. Ideally, the humidity level should be at least 35% or above to achieve the machines maximum performance. In regions with lower humidity levels, the machine will manufacture pure drinking water at a lesser capacity than in regions with high levels of humidity. The period of time to achieve optimal water production is directly related to humidity. As an example, in a household environment, higher levels of humidity tends to be around kitchens or any spacious room. The WaterMicron™
Atmospheric Water Generator works by converting the humidity in the air to pure drinking water. The WaterMicron™
unit also acts as an effective dehumidifier and in areas with high humidity the WaterMicron™
unit not only acts as a perfect pure drinking water generator but it also works to condition and dehumidify the air within the specific environment where the unit is placed. WaterMicron's simple design, smaller size and low-pressure operation also provide a substantial cost advantage in production. These performance and cost advantages are sustainable in the short to medium term as a result of the web and of intellectual property protection built around the technology. Lloyd states that, “Our strategic plan is to seek a license agreement with a major appliance manufacturer and to achieve penetration of that manufacturer’
s market via that licensee's distribution system. Royalty income from this arrangement will allow WaterMicron Industries, Ltd. to fund ongoing R&D for the diffusion of the technology into other markets and other industry applications, e.g. irrigation, aquaculture, brewing and air conditioning. In these subsequent markets, WaterMicron Industries, Ltd. will decide to issue licenses or enter as a manufacturer, as reason dictates”.
Royalty income is expected to begin in 2010, growing to $5.3 million in 2013, based on conservative assumptions regarding market penetration and industry growth assumptions. Net Profit after tax is projected to grow to $1.2 million in 2010 and up to $33.3 million in 2013. Although R&D expenses for the development of extensions into other markets are included in the cash flow analysis, no revenues are included from these other markets - they are part of the 'blue sky' potential. WaterMicron Industries, Ltd. is seeking a new equity partner with capital and commercial knowledge of the global water industry. This capital is required to fund the initial period of negative cash flow while the management of WaterMicron Industries, Ltd. seeks all necessary approvals for the various global markets; negotiates additional agreements with its private label manufacturer;
and continues to develop its unique technology. WaterMicron Industries, Ltd. offers the investor an equity share in the business depending on their contribution.
