Tastings NYC is a tasting and purchasing show produced by CCK Global, created for both consumers and industry attendees to enjoy gourmet food and sumptuous goods.
This year’s event was held from November 7 thru November 9 at Pier 94, focusing on a variety of “tastings”
The show was opened to the public from 1pm until 8pm, from Friday thru Saturday, and from 1pm to 7pm on Sunday, which was the most visited day. Cooking classes with 10 chefs were offered during the show, totalling 6 presentations per day. New York Post, CBS-2 and radio and magazine campaigns promoted show awareness and invited potential visitors to the show.
Tonnino´s presence in Tastings NYC was a total success, where consumers not only sampled the finest tuna fillets, but also left with either a list of gourmet recipes to enjoy among friends, an environmentally conscious bag for groceries, or a Tonnino DVD to watch live how to cook and prepare delectable and healthy tuna meals. Many visitors already knew and purchased Tonnino, and those who didn’t seemed very interested in getting to know the brand and wanted to try every one of its appetizing presentations of tuna fillet with jalapeno, oregano, garlic, olive oil, spring water and ventresca, the pinnacle of this gourmet product line. They were delighted with Tonnino yellowfin tuna, rich in omega 3 fish oil and low in calories
Clearly, among the participating gourmet seafood alternatives, Tonnino tuna stood out. The ventresca and the jalapeño flavours were the most attractive, given their rareness and exoticness, in addition to their unique taste. Pate tuna was also sampled and very well received. Each hand packed jar of Tonnino offered a product of exceptional quality, texture and taste that nobody wanted to miss.
