Nov. 29, 2008 - On his 7th birthday, Liam Knowles was looking through the internet with his mom and came across the ASPCA website. At just 7 years old, his heart filled with thoughts of those poor animals, and what he could do. He asked his Mom, Stephanie Knowles if he could give them some money and suggested that he could donate all his birthday gifts to them. Stephanie said that he could always ask his friends coming to his birthday party to donate to the ASPCA instead of giving him gifts... and that's what Liam wanted to do.
At 6 years old, going on 7 - this amazing boy chose on his own to donate everything he was going to get for his birthday from friends to this wonderful charity to help save these animals. It takes a pure heart and a pure mind to do this, especially at his age when it's normally all about me, me, me.
I congratulate this boy, his family and know that he will be rewarded in life for his selfless actions. Liam Knowles, people everywhere are so proud of you!
