There are two large groups of people who take medication or vitamins daily. Those of us that remember we have medication to take and a group that doesn't remember that they even have medication to take, the schedule they should follow or sometimes even the name of the medication. This second group is very difficult to address adequately and when we try it's very expensive in terms of tools and effort. TimeSince is geared for the first group. The group that is just too busy with many other things going on. And the group that is responsible for the medication of either their children or their parents.
The TimeSince timer is the easiest and simplest timer on the market. This is how it works. Attach it to any size bottle or container using the supplied double sided tape. Hit the reset button - the LCD display will show 00h:00m - then starts counting up. Then just check the display for elapsed time. That's it ! For example: If you take your meds twice a day and the display is 12h:18m then take your medicine. If the display is 01h:21m then you just took it 1hr and 18minutes ago. That's good, you did take it on time.
After testing other timer's functionality it really came down to this:
----> the easier the device was to use the more likely it will get used long term and,
----> the only information required by the target group was "when they last took their medication" without the overhead of programming an alarm or any other feature.
Let's repeat this last benefit. No programming required. Because, in order to have the alarm work you need to specify the current time, then specify when the alarm (or alarms) should sound, then place the alarmed timer somewhere where it will get heard and you can act on it. And finally, re-program the time for daylight savings time and after you replace the battery.
This is a lot of work for those of us that just want to know if we took our medication/pill/
In summary, TimeSince has designed the simplest and most cost effective timer for either daily or casual use. It is revolutionary in it's simplicity and ubiquitous design. At just 30mm (1 1/4") diameter and 8mm (1/4") wide it is also one of the smallest timers available, about the size of a quarter. In keeping with a goal of simplicity it comes with a battery (non-replaceable)
It's time (pun intended) to order a TimeSince timer and start taking your medication on schedule. Fifty percent of us don't and therefore don't get the health benefits we should for what we sometimes paid over $50 for.
