Micralyne Inc., a world leading independent MEMS Manufacturer, was present for the two day Nanotech showcase that was presented by nanoAlberta in partnership with the Alberta Ingenuity Fund and the National Institute of Nanotechnology.
Dr. Steve Jakeway, Product Line Manager at Micralyne also participated in a session about Energy and showcased Micralyne’s experience with MEMS Devices for Oil and Gas Sensors, Power Devices and Environment Sensors. In addition Dr. Jakeway spoke about Micralyne’s technical capabilities for MEMS Development and MEMS Manufacturing.
Other speakers such as Dr. Michael Brett, Professor at the University of Alberta, spoke about such technologies as Glancing Angle Deposition (GLAD), which is a proprietary method to deposit engineered nanostructured thin films for next generation nano and micro devices.
