The contract required Datacraft to upgrade its converged communication infrastructure across its two offices in India and enhance connectivity with its U.S. offices.
The IT Services major’s clientele includes leading companies across the U.S. and Europe. This in turn depends on a highly robust communication system to keep their business operations running smoothly. Datacraft was therefore tasked with designing and deploying a secure, reliable converged communications network that seamlessly connects the branches across India and the U.S. to its head office in Trivandrum, India. At the same time, the network would enable over 500 of its employees in India to access and share information anytime, anywhere.
The current infrastructure at the global software and IT services major were using disparate systems across branches which were affecting employee productivity and in turn increasing the operating costs. They were looking for a solution that would provide their employees with a flexible communication tool to enhance productivity and allow them faster access to information. Datacraft was chosen as the preferred partner for this communication system revamp based on their proven technical expertise and track record, as well as their ability to understand and address the client’s business needs and implement the appropriate technology.
To meet the client’s requirements, Datacraft deployed a real-time collaborative communications solution, which includes provisioning and deployment of Cisco Meeting Place for Rich-Media collaboration integrating voice, web and video. This contract also requires Datacraft to provide project management, design and consultancy, engineering and staging, and Uptime maintenance services.
Upon completion of the project, the client would be able to benefit from improved employee productivity with streamlined work processes and seamless connectivity, increased agility in responding to changing business needs, and cost savings through reduced phone and travel expenses.
