In Germany the number of new hotel construction projects is increasing evermore. 60 new first class and luxury hotels with more than 7,000 new hotel rooms have been opened this year, e.g. the Capella Hotel Breidenbacher Hof in Dusseldorf/Northrhine-

In Germany for the next year 174 hotels with more than 27,000 rooms are scheduled for opening. The number of luxury hotels will increase by 21. Outstanding hotel construction projects are the Movenpick Hotel Dusseldorf (201 rooms, opening in January 2009), Hilton Airrail Center Frankfurt/Main (247 rooms, opening in February 2009) and the Golf & Wellness Resort Budersand on Sylt Island (79 rooms, opening in May 2009).
