Women from all over the state of Oklahoma are finding great favor with the only pageant dedicated to the voluptuous body. The Miss Oklahoma Plus pageant has provided a common ground for plus size women to compete for a title that willnot only recognize them for their individual beauty and talents but give them ample visibility to effectively service the community. Some of the categaries of competition include a series of interviews, individual poise and pantsuit presentation.
The newly crowned queen and royal court will embark on community service
campaigns that support various social platforms, bringing new awareness to these and other challenging issues. Speaking engagements have touched many different subjects including medical issues facing certain communities, adoption and self love. To date, the 2008 royal court has participated in almost 20 community service engagements. Be a leader in your community and state. Use your personal power for the good of many.
