Private Multi Engine Rating. If you currently hold a private pilot certificate (Airplane Single Engine) and no instrument rating, upon completion of your training and satisfactory check ride, you will hold a Private Pilot Certificate Airplane Single & Multi-Engine - No instrument privileges. If you currently hold a private pilot certificate (Airplane Single Engine Land) and are instrument rated, upon completion of your training and satisfactory check ride, you will hold a Private Pilot Certificate Airplane Single & Multi-Engine Land with instrument ratings for both single and multi-engine airplanes.

Commercial Multi Engine Rating. If you currently hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airplane Single engine and are instrument rated), upon completion of your training and satisfactory check ride, you will hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate Airplane Single & Multi-Engine Land with instrument privileges.

Initial Commercial in a Multi Engine. If you currently hold a Private Pilot Certificate (Airplane Single Engine Land) and are instrument rated and do not hold a commercial pilot certificate, you can do the initial commercial in a multi-engine aircraft.  Upon completion of your training and satisfactory check ride, you will hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate in a multi-engine but will have the private in a single engine with instrument.  All of the requirements of FAR 61.129 (B) will be covered.

Multi Engine Instructor Rating. If you currently hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airplane Single & Multi Engine Land) and a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate single engine and have logged at least 10 hours of multi-engine pilot in command, upon completion of your training and satisfactory check ride, you will hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate Single & Multi-Engine Land and a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate Single & Multi-Engine Airplane.

ATP Rating. If you currently hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airplane Single & Multi-Engine Land with Instrument) and have met the flight experience requirements outlined in FAR 61.159. (To include: 1500 hours total time as a pilot, 500 hours cross country, 100 hours night, 75 hours instrument.) Upon completion of your training and satisfactory check ride you will hold the ATP certificate in the multi-engine airplane.
