Nov. 22, 2008 - PRLog -- Organiser Catherine Tyson is hoping to “pamper” and “motivate” women through the “Me in My Life” seminar scheduled for 5-7 December at the South Sound Civic Centre in Grand Cayman.

Ms Tyson said the motivational seminar weekend is aimed at local women and women visiting Grand Cayman for the fifth annual Cayman Jazz Fest, which runs from 4 to 6 December.

She said the “special” weekend has an outstanding line-up of featured activities, which will give participants a much-needed break.

“We spend so much time taking care of everyone else. This weekend will be a time for women to refill their spiritual and emotional tanks so they can continue to care for those they love and remember the fabulous lady in the mirror,” she said.

Scheduled to make presen-tations during the main seminar sessions on Saturday, 6 December are author and speaker Nerissa Golden of Montserrat, who is releasing a Truly Caribbean Woman’s Guide to Good Love and The Making of a Caribbeanpreneur: Strategies for Overcoming Fear and Building Wealth this December, and Ms Tyson herself, who is a trained counsellor and author of an upcoming book “I’m Somebody’s Mama”.

Also scheduled to attend and be on hand for questions is Dr Anita Davis DeFoe, an author and motivational speaker based in Florida, and who has authored several publications including “A Woman’s Guide to Soulful Living”. She recently penned her first fiction novel “Tropical Escapes”.

The speakers will make general presentations as well as chair round-table discussions on a variety of issues relating to women, relationships, health and family. Several other men and women from the Cayman community will be on panels and take questions during the afternoon forum on Saturday.

The cost of the seminar is US$125 and persons can download the registration form fromwww.somebodysmama.com. Reservations can also be made by contacting Catherine Tyson by email at Catherine@somebodysmama.com.
