Squidoo lenses are created by anyone who wants to join Squidoo. I have lenses that focus on travel, outdoors, politics, golf, etc. Lenses are built by using modules that can contain written content or videos from major distributors as well as rss feeds and much more.
Squidoo is excellent for getting the word out about your online activities or for building a presence on the web. Many Squidoo publishers have over 50 lenses, and they can receive the award of "Giant Squid" for their efforts.
