All winners and runners-up get FREE gold stickers for their books and a trophy as well as international press release coverage and more! By entering the Pearson Prize authors are also helping one public school build its collection of books! Classrooms need books and why not yours? "Our classrooms are without books. Any books! We need books. Also, students need to read and when they are reading for a purpose - such as judging a book award - they are more engaged, more focused. This award was a great chance to honour less known books, books from small presses and, at the same time, get books for our students to read," said Sweet the prize's founder. Details and entry forms for the Pearson Prize can be found at the website www.PearsonPrize.org.
