Creation Dance has seen the expansion of its popular Urban Groove street dance class out of London and into Oxford, with new adult classes starting in November 2008. Running classes out of the ideally located studio at OFS in George Street, and planning another central Oxford class starting in January, Creation has been an instant hit with Oxford residents looking for a place to learn to dance.
Speaking of the new classes, Creation Dance founder Elle Kealy said,” We are really pleased to welcome our new teacher Gem to Creation. Gem has trained and danced at Pineapple in London and with renowned dance group Dance2Xs and is a great addition to our team. Creation runs dance classes for adults in Oxford and the Urban Groove class is a street dance (or hip hop) dance class which is designed for beginners over the age of 18 who want to learn to dance somewhere with other people of a similar age. Each week, dancers learn a new short routine to the latest hits as well as learning basic hip hop style moves. The classes are a great way to meet people and make friends, and Creation’s first term sold out quickly.
