Tommye Young-West, of One Luv Entertainment, Joins Optimus Entertainment Group

PRLog (Press Release) – Nov 19, 2008 – Atlanta, GA,  – One Luv Entertainment recording artist, Tommye Young-West, joins the Optimus Entertainment Group for her upcoming project entitled “Created to Worship” with the two major singles “Created to Worship” and “Going Home.”

Tommye began her career by recording “The Jordan River” in 1987. She then recorded four other gospel albums: “Just Call Me Tommye” on Command Records in 1993, “Believe” on Serious Records in 2000, “Patriotic Medley” (dedicated to the victims of “911” in New York City), and her latest album, “Now Is The Time”. This project was released on the One Luv Entertainment label in May 2003.

Tommye’s career has allowed her to work with well known gospel and secular artists including Stevie Wonder, D.J. Rogers, GOD'S Property, Douglas Miller, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Dr. Vernard Johnson, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Kim Burrell and the late O' Landa Draper. She has been in concert with Take Six, Beverly Crawford, Al Green, Daryl Coley, and Edwin Hawkins. Over the years, Tommye has gained much recognition, and received many accolades for her work in the Gospel music industry.
