PR Log (Press Release)Nov 19, 2008 – Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) recommends this simple- to- use Dual Frequency RFID Reader (GAO 211004), which operates at both 125kHz and 13.56MHz enabling the user to read a wider variety of RFID cards.
This advanced RFID device is primarily used for access control, system logon/logoff and the identification and authorization of system operators by scanning the users RFID enabled card. The card must be in contact with the cradle in order for the device to work. Overall, GAO’s Dual Frequency (LF or HF) RFID Reader is an ideal system logon key that protects against the unauthorized system use.  
GAO’s Dual Frequency (LF or HF) RFID Reader provides the following features:
•   Read either 125kHz or 13.56MHz frequency cards
•   System Log on/Log off
•   Designed with RS232 or PS/2 or USB interface
•   Reads unique serial number (UID) of the RFID card
•   Multi-Detection
