Service Laundry Machinery (SLM), a Dexter Authorized Distributor recently held a free, all day open house at their headquarters in Belton, SC. The classes were attended by more than 80 people from across the southeast who celebrated the commercial and on-premise laundry industries with a full day event featuring product displays, service and industry seminars, special one-day pricing and more
"Our annual open house is always an important time for our entire team here at Service Laundry Machinery," said Bill Gilbert, President of SLM. "This show gives us an excellent opportunity to provide the one-on-one sales, customer service and technical support we feel our customers need and deserve to be successful in their business."
To celebrate the event Service Laundry Machinery gave away a Dexter T-300 commercial 18-lb washer. Jimmy Brinkley of Aiken, SC was the lucky winner of this machine. Brinkley is an multi-store owner and opened his original laundry with his father over 30 years ago next to their grocery store in New Ellenton, SC. Brinkley 's operation has grown over the years to include his two sons who help operate over 16 coin laundries, car washes, and multi-storage units. “Jimmy's concept of business, his "golden rule" treatment of customers, and his involvement of his family with his business, has made him a successful operator and we at SLM are proud to be a part of his success, said Bill Gilbert."
