Award Winning Carnival of Love
Mollydooker Wines Carnival of Love Shiraz from McLaren Vale South Australia has just been chosen as one of the Top 10 wines in the world in the Wine Spectator Top 100 wines annual review. This is the second year in a row that Carnival of Love has been chosen as a Top 10 wine.
In his September wine review of more than 500 wines, Harvey Steiman, Wine Spectator’s lead taster of Australian wines and editor at large, gave top honors to Carnival of Love Shiraz by awarding it a 95-point score and the “Highly Recommended”

Wine Spectator’s coveted Top 10-rated wines usually sell out very fast. The 2007 Carnival of Love Shiraz will be even more difficult to find than in the preceding vintage due to a 50% drop in production because of the drought in South Australia last year. Last year’s number 8 in the Wine Spectator “Top 100” was the 2006 Carnival of Love Shiraz. Though this wine is sold out through most channels, Sarah and Sparky Marquis, owners and winemakers for Mollydooker Wines, have released a few special large-format magnum bottles for sale on their USA website.
