Smith announced today the incorporation of ACCELERATE, INC, effective January 2, 2008.  ACCELERATE, INC is a business focused on operations and technology professional services and product development capabilities.  The firm intends to focus its efforts on the life science, medical device and clean tech industries offering expertise, strategy and solutions to start-up and established businesses alike.

Prior to forming ACCELERATE, INC, Mr. Ryan held a variety of leadership positions of increasing operational responsibility in various fields including life sciences, medical devices, consumer electronics and global consulting, at firms such as General Electric, Bose Corporation, Affymetrix and Coopers&Lybrand.   Similarly, Ms. Smith has been an instrumental operational leader at firms such as Presstek, Iris Graphics and Affymetrix.
