Attendees were amazed that the mobile solar generator utilized its on-board, solar-charged batteries to silently power high-wattage HMI lights for four hours after the sun had gone down.
Hart Bochner ("The Greenest Celebrity In Hollywood" according to Time Magazine) spent time with Pure Power execs examining the solar trailer and discussing the importance of this technology. He spoke of his own struggle with air pollution as an athlete growing up in Los Angeles, and his continuing efforts to reduce emissions of diesel generators in Hollywood productions.
“The entertainment industry has been on the cutting edge of social issues throughout its history. Now more than ever, we need to lead the world in making “sustainable”
“This solar trailer is clearly some of the most important technology available to us today, and is extremely exciting and timely".
Actors, directors and producers stopped Norris Lozano, CEO and President of Pure Power Distribution, and Scott Chaplan, the Board Chairman, to discuss getting these noiseless, clean generators on their sets. All stated that this technology will help reduce the black soot and clatter of the diesel “gennies” and feed Hollywood’s hungry appetite for silent, clean energy.
