PASADENA, Calif. – RTT USA, Inc. (RTT), a leader in realtime 3D visualization software and services for product design and marketing, will host a head-to-head sketch off competition during the LA Auto Show’s Designers’ Night Party on Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The event is part of the Design Los Angeles conference.
The competition begins at 8 p.m. and will feature top sketch artists from LA-area automotive design studios. Judges are Frank Saucedo, chief designer at General Motors’ LA design studio, and Dave Marek, chief designer at Honda R&D Americas. Other attendees will include key designers from various Southern California automotive design studios.
“RTT is proud to sponsor the Designers’ Night Party again this year, and with the overwhelming success of last year’s sketch-off competition, we’re excited to bring it back,” said Eric Bauer, RTT’s 3D visualization manager. “There are plenty of creative sketch artists in the southern California area, so we encourage them to take part in our competition and duke it out for the chance to reign as our next design sketch champion.”
Designers must be signed up for the Design Los Angeles conference in order to participate in RTT’s sketch off. The competition is not open to the public.
