A spokesman for Wilson Bowden Developments has commented that the firm are “in discussions”
Wilson Bowden was bought in Spring 2007 by Newcastle based Barratt Developments for £2.2bn but with economic slowdown and large sums of debt - Barratt has decided to sell the commercial section of the business, Wilson Bowden Developments.
According to reports in the press, the asking price could exceed £250m with up to 16 bids been received so far.
