Annette Hennekens has lived in Wisconsin for most of her life and also has an interesting past that may raise some eyebrows.  At the end of high school, she decided to follow the Grateful Dead around the United States.  “That was a real education, and it affirmed my belief that people are kind, good, and generous,” said Hennekens.  “I also had the opportunity to live as a gypsy making and selling jewelry and art and performing tarot card readings,” Hennekens said.  

In June of 2008 Hennekens received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.  “I could feel the empowerment from completion of a major goal.  I knew I can do anything and knew that what I truly want in life is possible,” said Hennekens.  Her interests include art, world music, personal life transformation, making beaded jewelry, and world travel.
