Jeanne Marie Spicuzza is the author of various works, including Beautiful Terrible & True, a collection of poetry and writings, and Hope is My Favorite Color, an illustrated children's story and play staged at the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. Her self-titled CD was nominated for the Golden Headset Award. Spicuzza has featured at festivals and venues worldwide, and has appeared in theatre, movies, television and radio. Her work, hailed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Vatican Division of Arts and Culture, may be found on permanent exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum. Spicuzza is currently in development of three motion picture projects, "Making Angels" and "The Scarapist," with director Julie Dash ("Daughters of the Dust"), and "Breath of God," a biopic of Hildegard von Bingen. She lives in Los Angeles.
