The San Diego Luxury Pawn Shop Report’s newest online edition features more tips for pawn shop goers and consumers interested in selling their used luxury items. While previous editions have featured tips on everything from selling dental gold scraps and gold bullion coins to selling diamonds and diamond rings, the Report’s 1st November edition includes tips on pawning or selling used watches and sterling silver flatware.
“We encourage people to come to our magazine first before trying to sell or collateralize their jewelry or other items made from precious metals, like gold and silver,” says managing editor Alan Blyler. "Our mission is to provide the public with the best objective information on the second-hand luxury market, so that they can walk into their local pawn shop, jewelry buyer, or auction house with greater confidence. There is no reason people should feel nervous or intimidated when trying to sell something like diamond jewelry, if they just do a little research on websites like our report.”
According to Blyler, some of the tips the magazine offers may seem obvious, such as looking for the word “sterling”
Also included in the Report’s latest edition is a review of an article on How Pawn Shops Work, a report on increased business among high end pawn shops in California, and an interesting trend report on loan companies forming alliances with pawn shops so as to broaden their customer base and synergize services.
