Entrepreneurs Mike and Joyce Bertrand announce the launch of four websites targeting visitors and locals searching for information about the northern San Diego communities of Carlsbad, Encinitas, Leucadia, Oceanside and Solana Beach. The sites highlight the restaurants, shops, hotels and things to do in northern San Diego County.
“You can easily find information about San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter and Old Town San Diego online, but these northern San Diego County communities are worthy attractions as well,” said Mike Bertrand. “We are featuring Carlsbad and the surrounding communities to provide more options for tourists and to help locals plan their stay-cations.”
The domain names of the new sites are easy to find and remember: SanDiegoNorthRestaurants.com, SanDiegoNorthShopping.com, SanDiegoNorthHotels.com and SanDiegoNorthThingsToDo.com. All four sites have one page dedicated to each of the five targeted communities:
The Bertrands also publish San Diego’s North Coast Discovery Map, a colorful, hand-illustrated map and guide that is distributed throughout northern San Diego County. The map publication has an annual distribution of 125,000, making it one of the most visible tourist resources in the area.
