Development Partners and Management (DPM) International is the first organisation in Jamaica to be approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to provide project management training and issue Category Three Professional Development Units (PDU). These units can be used for maintaining the Project Management Professional (PMP® credential, as well as for the “contact hours” that are required to apply to sit for the PMP. Prospective Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) undergoes a rigorous quality review process.
To be an R.E.P. an organisation must meet certain criteria including qualified instructors, course content and delivery as well as demonstrated evidence of the company's consistent adherence to the PMI® standards. Having successfully met these criteria, DPM International now joins the prestigious list of R.E.Ps. worldwide who are able to issue PDUs for credit towards meeting the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) of the PMP® certification. In order to obtain PMP®) certification individuals must satisfy education and experience requirements, agree to and adhere to obtain 60 PDUs every three years in order to maintain certification. PMPs completing DPM/Boston University Corporate Education Center project management courses accrue one PDU for each hour of course duration.
