Miles Technologies’ Employees To Work From Snow Globe During Coat Drive

Nov. 14, 2008 - PRLog -- Miles Technologies’ employees will be working remotely from a giant snow globe from November 17th to November 21st between the hours of 8am until 5pm in order to raise awareness for a coat drive with One Warm Coat to benefit SisterHood Incorporated of Burlington, New Jersey.  

The globe will be located at Miles Technologies’ corporate headquarters at 300 West Route 38 in Moorestown, New Jersey, near the Moorestown Mall at the intersection of Route 38 and Pleasant Valley Avenue.  Businesses and individuals are encouraged to visit the snow globe and drop off their clean, used coats to be donated to those in need.  Each business that donates a coat at Miles Technologies’ corporate headquarters will receive a free technology evaluation from the company’s expert technology consultants.  

“With all of the negativity surrounding the state of the economy, we want to do something uplifting in time for the holidays,” says Chris Miles, Chief Executive Officer of Miles Technologies.  “We’re hoping to make a positive impact, igniting participation from community residents and businesses alike.  Hosting a coat drive is something small that we can do to remind people that although the economy has been suffering, we will weather this storm.”

Working from a snow globe will be made possible by Miles Technologies’ remote office solutions, which give businesses the ability to access their network systems from anywhere – even, in this case, a snow globe.

“Since our employees will actually be working inside of the globe, we won’t be losing any productivity,” says Miles.  “As a business owner, this is important to me.”
