Mr. Langan, Chief Executive Officer of Cornwallis Mackenzie Business Development Inc. (“Cornwallis Mackenzie”) announced today that Mr. Paul MacNutt would be joining the firm at its head office in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Mr. MacNutt is welcomed to Cornwallis Mackenzie as our Local Area Market Consultant for Halifax and Nova Scotia and brings with him a wealth of experience of market conditions and opportunities throughout the province of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Mr. Langan said today “Halifax and the Province of Nova Scotia is situated ideally for carrying out business in both North America and Europe... where else can you have a time zone difference of four hours to both the Pacific coast and the United Kingdom?”.
During Cornwallis Mackenzie's talks with Mr. NacNutt in October of this year it became clear to company officials that Paul MacNutt had the skills, knowledge and business connections to support our expansion plans during 2009 and offered him a position with the company.
Mr. NacNutt said “working with Cornwallis Mackenzie is a challenge that I will enjoy... the business environment in Halifax is stable and with the current financial climate now is the time to look at generating revenue from exporting while firming up you local business.

Paul MacNutt bringing with him over 28 years of management experience in the catering, leisure and real estate sectors. With 16 years experience as owner / operator of a locally based restaurant and catering business Mr. MacNutt has gained considerable customer service and marketing experience which he in turn brought to bare on future projects. With proven project management experience Paul has held the project management lead on a range of projects ranging from commercial construction, residential renovations and investment transactions. Mr. MacNutt holds a bachelors of Education degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax and is a successful real estate investor in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and is a registered realtor working with the Sutton Group.
