Nov. 12, 2008 - PRLog -- Palm Beach, Florida -- While many businesses nationwide are shrinking and downsizing as the result of the challenging economic climate, the Palm Beach Show Group is one of the rare businesses that continue to grow and expand, evidenced by its most recent announcement that it has added the Dallas International Jewelry, Art & Antique Show to its growing roster of shows.

The Dallas International Jewelry, Art & Antique Show is the fourth jewel in the Palm Beach Show Group’s roster of premier shows, joining the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, the Baltimore Summer Antiques Show, and the D.C. Spring Antiques Show.

"Over time, hard assets are one of the most solid asset classes for capital appreciation and a hedge against inflation.  The governments of the world can print as much currency as they would like, which devalues currency as related to this category of hard asset.  Consequently, art, antiques and jewelry take precedent during unstable economic times over traditional investments such as the stock market and real estate," said Scott Diament, Co-Owner and COO of the Palm Beach Show Group.

Each of the Palm Beach Show Group’s shows features more than 200 international exhibitors displaying fine collections of antiques, art and jewelry as well as free educational lectures by top industry experts.

“Each of our shows brings together an international audience of collectors and dealers who understand the importance and value of hard assets.   The advent of the Dallas show gives them a broader playing field from which they can develop business opportunities,” said Kris Charamonde, Managing Partner of the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art and Antique Show and Co-Owner of the Palm Beach Show Group.

"Time and again, the Palm Beach Show Group organizes unparalleled venues for exhibitors to come together to show their most important collections,” said Albert Levy, President, A.B. Levy Rare Antiques & Fine Art. “Their venues have become the place for anyone interested and serious about art, antique and jewelry collections.”

The Palm Beach Show Group was founded in 2001 by partners Kris Charamonde, Scott Diament, and Robert Samuels, each of whom are graduate gemologists and have career experience in the art, antique and jewelry industry.  They are the largest, independently owned art, antique & jewelry show producers in the world, operating several of the largest, most prestigious antique shows including the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, widely recognized as the largest show of its kind in the United States; the Baltimore Summer Antiques Show, the largest indoor summer antiques show in the United States with the most important collection of silver exhibitors in the world; and the D.C. Spring Antiques Show in Washington, D.C.
