As you might have noticed we're currently doing the best we can to improve Virtual Manager. We are listening very to user needs in order to give you the best manager gaming experience.
With this post we would like to tell you all what we are currently fiddling with. The following are ideas at not necessarily things that will be implemented. However, it let you all know where we're focusing at the moment.
Newspapers
As mentioned earlier we considered making an in-game newspaper system. The online newspapers will be created entirely by the users themselves. All users will have the possibility to publish articles/blog posts via this system. After doing this, other users will vote for the best authors. The best authors will get to write the articles for the coming newspaper, that will be published once a week.
Improved federations
Even though the federation feature is already popular, we would like to improve them. As for now we have not decided what exactly will be done - maybe you have some ideas?
Besides the general improvement we will also focus on internationalization so that it will be easier to find federations from your own country.
User driven translation system
Along with more and more nationalities start playing Virtual Manager we are getting a lot of offers from users that want to translate the game into their native language. Because of this we will start developing an efficient new translating system. This system will allow us to appoint around 2 to 25 translators for a given language. These translators will collaborate to translate the game into their own language. When a game is translated the translator will be able to suggest and vote for corrections. The changes that get most votes, will be merged into the game. In this way, with YOUR help, we will be able to translate the game into many different languages. Translations
Vrtual Manager will be available in Spanish and German in the near future.
Stadium editor
A feature we would really like to see in the game is a fun new way to form and create your perfect stadium. The involves placing everything from parking lots to hot dog stands.
Goalkeeper attributes
As it is now, outfield players and goal keepers share the same set of attributes. We would like to give the goal keepers their own attributes, so that assessing their strengths will be easier and more intuitive.
Faster season update
The site shuts down every Sunday at 5pm to 6pm (GMT). We would like to make the season update process faster so that the site will be closed for a shorter amount of time.
