PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 10, 2008 – American Board Certified Professional Counselor Gordon S. Bruin L.P.C, is a graduate of John F. Kennedy University in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in addiction studies.  He has worked in the addictions field for the past twenty years and founded Innergold Counseling Services, which specializes in the treatment of pornography and sexual addiction issues.  

Six years ago Bruin noticed a trend in the number of individuals asking for help with Pornography and Sexual addiction and began counseling a handful of clients. Based on thousands of hours of personal experience in the clinical setting Bruin has written a first of its kind Self-Help Treatment Manual.  The 100 page Innergold Treatment Manual informs, guides, and gives the necessary tools for proven sobriety.

The manual not only informs and educates but gives methods and hands-on tools in the quest for sobriety over sexual addiction. The heart of the manual teaches addicts about the two-part brain and opens eyes to how sexual addiction works and why it has confused them for so long. The manual also equips individuals with specific tools and methods to help in the understanding of how the brain works and how to gain control over addictive thoughts by introducing a very powerful form of active meditation.  Spouses of addicts read the manual as frequently as addicts themselves to get an understanding of how to help their loved one.    

A simple version of Innergold.com was launched 1 year ago in an effort to extend the reach of the treatment manual. October 15th, of 2008 Innergold.com re-launched, giving a new image and robust framework to Innergold’s national presence, centered on the manual. The new site includes a multi-segment video counseling package, podcasts, and will soon include group counseling capabilities. Filtration/accountability software, ecclesiastical leadership information, and spouse help will be a few of the many other features available.

The goal of the web site is to "change the world one person at a time". With currently about 2,000 visitors a month to the site, InnerGold.com plans to have over 20,000 visitors each month by mid 2009.
