Jamal Isbell-Arsenec, President of Ceaser Media Group, LLC, has announced the launch of a print edition of the very popular online magazine, UrbanMETRO (http://www.urbanmetromagazine.com)
“UrbanMETRO is a fashion and lifestyle magazine for the fashionable urban male. It brings to the fore the issues that affect men in general while highlighting trends and habits of men identifying as ‘metrosexual’
“We found our online edition extremely successful and many of our readers requested a print edition. Our first print edition will feature singer, actor and model Christian Keyes from Tyler Perry’s hit stage play, Madea Goes to Jail; boxing legend Lennox Lewis and talented actor Lamman Rucker,” said UrbanMETRO Editor-in-Chief, Anika Waltz-Cummings. “This is truly an exciting time for us as we move from our initial online magazine to a print version.”
Echoing Waltz-Cummings sentiments, Ceaser stated, “This is an exciting time indeed! We’ve launched a new user-friendly website, made forums and chatrooms available to our readers, and, with the print edition on its way, we will reach more readers in more places that we have in the past.”
Sales and Circulation Director Marron Pickett announced that the magazine will slash advertising prices in half for the premiere print edition and will give additional discounts to companies contracting now to promote their services or products in UrbanMETRO. “In this time of financial hardship, we want companies to know there is an outlet that is conscious of the economic downturn and we are doing our part by slashing advertising prices.”
The print edition will be available on January 12, 2009 across the US and Canada. For additional information on UrbanMETRO, visit their website at http://www.urbanmetromagazine.com or call 866-540-8088.
