The new website is aimed at individual travellers who wish to join a group to minimize costs, customise their travel plans online, check on pricing before deciding, and a later service which is being worked on will also provide visitors a chance to develop their own trip and post it on the fixed departures to try and get others to join the trip.
The site aims the ultimate in customization, which is an underlying practice to make trips "responsible"
The promoters also feel that "responsible travel" has been too much of a "high cost" element, or has been marketed to be like that, and want to open it up, so that people can develop their own trips, customise it to their requirements and budgets, and yet work within the principles of responsible travel, being environment and culturally sensitive, and maximizing contributions to the local economy.
