Roast by the Coast, an annual fundraiser for Sullivan’s Island Elementary School, will feature one of the Lowcountry’s most popular bands, the Blue Dogs. Proceeds from Roast by the Coast will help pay for desperately needed technology and library updates for the school. Sullivan’
s Island Elementary depends on fundraisers like the PTA’s Roast by the Coast to generate revenue for necessary expenditures not funded by county, state, or federal budgets. This year’s Roast by the Coast will be November 22 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the Sullivan’s Island Fish Fry Shack located at Station 15 and Middle Street.
Roast by the Coast offers a big entertainment bang for the buck with all-you-can-
eat oysters by Seel’s on Sullivan’s, award-winning she crab soup and chicken jambalaya by Barbara Jean’s restaurant, desserts by Bi-Lo, along with beer, wine, and tea. All food and beverages are included! Entertainment includes not only music by the Blue Dogs, but also the Groovin' Oyster Dance Contest with $50 Gift Certificates to Seel's on Sullivan's going to four winners. Roast attendees can also compete for a $2,000 cash prize and pick up some great art in the Student Craft Silent Auction. All-you-
