Group 4 Adopts The Designers Accord

A global creative community to foster environmental innovation

Nov. 5, 2008 - PRLog -- Group 4 has joined a global community of designers, engineers, consultants, researchers, marketing professionals and educational institutions by adopting The Designers Accord, a statement by the creative community to work in concert to develop and share best practices and methodologies addressing environmental issues and consequences.

The Accord is a set of guidelines for those in the creative community as they develop strategies and solutions for their clients’ business and design objectives. “Clearly, designers hold a very key role in the development process,” said Frank von Holzhausen, President of Group 4.  “We’ve long understood the influence designers can have in materials, features, usage, reuse – essentially the lifecycle of a product, a package, space within a building, and countless other applications. We are proud to adopt and support The Designers Accord and become part of this global collaborative effort to learn and share our insights with colleagues and clients.”

The Designers Accord is the largest movement of its kind: 100,000 designers, educators, researchers, engineers, and corporate leaders, from 100 countries around the world are working together to create positive environmental and social impact.
