First Certificates in Sports Hypnosis awarded

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 5, 2008 - Graduates of a new post-qualifying Certificate course in Sports Hypnosis, presented by The Centre for Sports Hypnosis in London, were awarded their certificates on Tuesday, following the successful completion of a 2-day training course and an associated exam.

The Centre’s Director and Principal Trainer, Gary Baker, said today that he was delighted with the success of the first group of hypnotherapists to undertake this unique course. “The response to the course has been overwhelming,” says Baker, “and these first graduates now have a good understanding of sports psychology, and how to use hypnosis with sports psychology in their practice.”

The uniqueness of this sports hypnosis course comes from its sports psychology base. “This is important,” says Baker, “as sports psychology is well-established and respected, so by basing a hypnosis course on it, we’re combining two very effective and well-researched disciplines used in sport.”

The Certificate course is open to qualified hypnotherapists. Graduates of the Certificate in Sports Hypnosis course are entitled to use the letters Cert.SportsHyp(CSH), and are listed on the Centre’s website at www.sportshypnosis.org.uk The next course is due to take place at the end of January 2009.
