Contributing to Children's Charities
San Diego—Concierge At Large, Inc., donated a gift of concierge service toward the Silent Auction which was held in conjunction with the fashion show gala, Couture For A Cause, held at The New Children’s Museum on October 2, 2008. Couture For A Cause was presented jointly by six of San Diego's legal professional organizations, including the San Diego chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA); the Southern California chapter of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA); the South Asian Bar Association of San Diego; the San Diego Paralegal Association;
“In the spirit of hospitality, we thought Couture for a Cause was an excellent way to give back to the community and reach out to the legal community here in San Diego.” says Kelly Sexton Caudillo, Concierge Services Manager for Concierge At Large, Inc. “As experts in providing elite concierge services, we understand the value of time-saving assistance and knew our services would be appreciated among the legal professionals thus contributing to the charities benefiting from this event.”
The success of this special event was dependent upon the generous support of philanthropic members of the business community. The charities that benefited from this fundraiser were Voices for Children, helping San Diego’s foster children by providing court advocacy and mentoring through its network of volunteers; and The Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft lip and palate charity - changing the world one smile at a time.
