This month marks the anniversary of the first publication in Mauritius of Islandinfo. In a mere twelve months the magazine has become the island’s premier English language publication and provides valuable information to tourists and locals and outstanding advertising and marketing services to its clients.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and look forward to another year upon which to build further success.
To celebrate the start of Islandinfo’s second year in publication we have a two part Lifestyle special on “The Life and Times of Alan Grihault” teacher, teacher trainer, dodo expert and an inspiring example of life after “retirement”
November tends to be a quiet month in Mauritius with very few public holidays, but from the 27th to 29th of November in Mahébourg is held La Regatta – which is anything but quiet! It is a great opportunity for tourists to sample some of the culture and history of the island as scores of pirogues, traditional fishing boats, take to the waters.
Splashing about in the water is a speciality of Yoaneye Kite Center and anyone who loves water sports should head on over there for some top quality coaching or just some good not at all old-fashioned fun.
The Domaine de Lagrave not only offers water-sports such as kayaking, canoeing and fishing, but also hiking, rock climbing, treasure-hunting and a top notch restaurant.
I could go on but, like Mauritius, Islandinfo has much to offer so what are you waiting for? Go to www.islandinfo.mu !
