GenScript Launches Endotoxin Quantification and Detection Kits

PISCATAWAY, N.J.,  – International contract research outsourcing company GenScript Corporation has added more endotoxin assay kits to its line of quantitative and qualitative detection products.

These endotoxin kits include GenScript’s ToxinSensor™ Chromogenic LAL Endotoxin Assay Kit and the ToxinSensor™ Gel Clot Endotoxin Kit. The Chromogenic LAL Kit includes a synthetic, color-producing substrate. The determination of endotoxin levels can be done chromogenically at high levels of sensitivity. The kit is effective over a range of endotoxin concentrations, as low as 0.005EU/ml and as high as 1EU/ml.  In addition, the endotoxin assay results show both good linearity and reproducibility when dealing with unknown concentrations of endotoxin. This is achievable due to the implementation of GenScript’s proprietary color stabilization reagent in the assay. GenScript also recommends the gel clone assay kit for use as either a positive or negative control in endotoxin assays.

The kits are supplied ready-to-use, with all necessary reagents and endotoxin-free materials included. The ToxinSensor™ Chromogenic LAL Endotoxin Assay Kit retails for $105USD and the ToxinSensor™ Gel Clot Endotoxin Kit retails for $90USD.
