2008 Pontiac G8 Reviews Return to Top of Fasttie.com

Fasttie.com [http://www.fasttie.com], The Car Review Search Engine, announces that reviews of the 2008 Pontiac G8 were viewed more times than any other model in October 2008.  The last time the Pontiac G8 topped the list was May 2008.  News that the Pontiac G8 will not be continued after the current production run could have lead to the increased interest.  From Edmunds.com, "According to sources, Pontiac will not get a version of the next rear-drive platform that underpins the Australian Holden Commodore. This move is indicative of a fundamental switch in direction for Pontiac, the General Motors division that just a few years ago was envisioned by Bob Lutz to be the American BMW."

The G8 is the rare Pontiac to achieve popularity on Fasttie.com. The only other Pontiac in the top 100 is the Pontiac Vibe, which is a re-packaged Toyota Matrix.
