Enrichment programs provide an excellent avenue for students interested in pursuing placement in graduate programs. Cheyney students in the Honors Academy participate in a number of programs every year, which provides valuable experience within their chosen fields. During the summer of 2008, several students participated in the Widener Jurist Academy Legal Enrichment Program as well.
The Honors Academy encourages participation in similar programs, and hosts a number of additional activities and events to help students prepare for graduate placement and for programs in law. Partially funded through the Bond-Hill Scholarship Program, the Honors Academy hosts activities such as graduate school visitations, graduate school fairs, support for preparatory courses for entrance examinations, and ongoing advising to assist in graduate school selection and application. As a result, the University has witnessed a significant increase in placement rates for graduates into graduate and professional programs.
