JUS' Blues Music Foundation Presents Its Inaugural “Christmas Blues Gala,” Friday, December 5th

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 02, 2008 – ATLANTA, GA - The Jus' Blues Music Foundation proudly presents its inaugural “Christmas Blues Gala,” Friday, Holiday Inn Select Downtown Atlanta at 8 pm at the Holiday Inn Select Downtown Atlanta on Capital Avenue near Turner Field. Entertainment will be by international recording artist, Prince of the Blues Lucky Peterson, the 1st Lady of Soul Trudy Lynn and the debut of Blues and Soul music phenom Tyree.
 
Though the Blues and Soul music community is invited, a special invitation is extended to artists, managers, agents, promoters, clubs, radio DJs and fans of great Southern Soul music to be a part of this BIG gala affair.  It is encouraged to bring information regarding artists that should be considered on the ballot for the upcoming 2009 Jus' Blues Music Awards during  August 5th thru August 9th in the “Home of the Blues,” Memphis, Tennessee. 
 
The categories include Best New Artist, Best Blues and Soul Radio DJ, Best Blues and Soul Song, Best Traditional Blues Artist and many more.  We are also considering Blues and Soul music candidates to be honored at the “Night of the Living Legends” Dinner celebrating the Honorees of the 2009 Jus' Blues Music Awards on August 5th.  Information on the event(s) will be forthcoming and posted on the websites -  www.jusbluesmusicfoundation.org and www.jusbluesmusic.com.   
 
The Jus' Blues Music Foundation “Christmas Blues Gala” will be a great opportunity to network with other professionals in the Blues and Soul music industry and party.  Cost for the gala event is $35.00 and advance tickets are available at www.jusbluesmusicfoundation.org.  This will include:  Admission to the “Christmas Blues Gala,” One year membership to the Jus' Blues Music Foundation, membership to the online Jus' Blues Room, a personal web page for one year, and your name placed in the drawing to win a pair of VIP tickets to attend the 2009 Jus’ Blues Music Awards. 
 
The Board of Directors of the Jus` Blues Music Foundation will be holding its National meeting in Atlanta at the Holiday Inn Select Downtown Atlanta on December 4th, 5th and 6th making plans for the 2009 and 2010 upcoming events.  Members are invited.  Additionally, the Advisory Board will meet to prepare for the 2009 Jus' Blues Music Awards.
 
The Jus' Blues Music Foundation needs your financial and in-kind support to further promote as well as educate our young people through the “Jus' Blues In The School” music program to share the importance of keeping the tradition of this great American art form alive.
