Halloween 'Hell Party' Centerpiece Chapter Of New Book

Shiloh. While the satire is written in mostly quick and easy-to-read short chapters of only one to four pages long, a 20-page Halloween “hell party” is the book's center chapter and details one night in the lives of three friends: Julie, Katlin, and Pete who live in Chicago, circa 1991. POOKOO is an offbeat mix of the hilarious and somber.

“It would make a great movie in itself,” screenwriter J.D. Frank said about the middle chapter. “It's so visual and so much is going on. The characters are in flux.”
