The Second International Scientific and Business Congress under the theme "Localisation Program on Environmental Business and Supply Base in India" with the International Green Business Fair is scheduled from 3rd to 4th February 2009 in New Delhi, India.  

Dr Rajendra Pachauri is the Patron of the Second Congress and will participate in person and as a key speaker.

The International Scientific and Business Congress on Protecting the Climate - A World Joint Strategy is listed in the House of Commons - Environmental Audit - Sixth Report: § 4 Kyoto instruments / International regulatory body for Carbon Markets.


"The effects of climate change, as well as the necessary means to prevent it, are important themes, which are of great concern to Denmark and the Danish Government. Thus, from a Danish point of view, "The Second International Scientific and Business Congress on Protesting the Climate - A World Joint Strategy", constitutes a very exciting and interesting initiative", says Mr Ole Lønsmann Poulsen, Ambassador, Royal Danish Embassy in India

Lord Browne, (the formerly BP), the Patron of the 1st Congress, characterized this event as, "...very timely and important".

The goal of the Congress is further development and transfer of clean technologies, as well as the creation of a localisation program in India with the emphasis on private business and education with subsequent strategy transfer to other developing countries.
