International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®) Appoints New President

Oct. 29, 2008 - PRLog -- Jennie Norris, ASPM®, IAHSP® has been appointed the President of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®) for 2009-2010.  In this position, Jennie will serve the members of the first professional association for Home Staging, and work directly with the IAHSP Board and the IAHSP Chairwoman and CEO, Barb Schwarz, The Creator of Home Staging®, to continue to set quality standards for the Home Staging industry, and to serve the public.

IAHSP International was founded in 1999 to serve the home staging industry.  As the only international association of its kind, IAHSP has a foundation in education and excellence as a benchmark for membership.  Members must adhere to educational standards and a code of ethics in order to qualify for membership.  IAHSP members number in the thousands and are located in every state in the United States, and in many provinces of Canada.   IAHSP also has regional chapters established throughout North America, and since 2003 has provided local support for members in order to help educate the public about home staging, and provide a professional forum for networking and business support.  Since 2003, IAHSP has hosted the only annual professional home staging convention for high level learning and networking, and has a non-profit IAHSP Foundation® that raises money for the Worldwide Staging Service Week™ held annually through our member chapters where IAHSP donates time and resources to an organization or individual in need.

Jennie Norris is an Accredited Staging Professional Master® and has been an IAHSP member since 2003, serving as the Vice President of IAHSP since 2004.  Jennie studied directly under Barb Schwarz, President of Stagedhomes.com, to earn her accreditation as a requirement for joining IAHSP.  Jennie is the owner of We Stage Sacramento (www.WeStageSacramento), the largest home staging company serving the greater Sacramento region.  As the first professional home stager in that area, Jennie and her team have staged over 2,500 houses for sale and have been featured on local television and publications as an expert in the home staging industry.
