Cincinnati, OH — October 29, 2008 —The Cincinnati chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs has today announced its next event in its Professional Development Series by welcoming Wilka Varela-Toppins, OVP, Diversity, Macy’s to speak at the November 6 luncheon sponsored by Macy’s.
Varela-Toppins is a top leader in the Hispanic community and the highest ranked Latina at Macy’s Corporate who will share the experiences that made her a successful executive for a major corporation.
Karen Hoguet, EVP, CFO will also speak at the luncheon.
In addition to the presentation, the event includes lunch and a professional networking opportunity for attendees.

Registration for the event is required and can be completed online. Macy's Corporate Office is a secure building and attendees must be registered, or they may not be admitted into the facility.
The NSHMBA Professional Development Series will be held Thursday, November 6 in the Board Room on the 21st floor of Macy’s Corporate Office, 7 West Seventh St. downtown. The event will be from 11:30am-1:30pm and will include lunch and refreshments. Business dress is preferred.
