Sarasota News: OurTown50.com initiates tourist program

OurTown50.com, www.ourtown50.com: will be initiating a Sarasota and Manatee metro area tourist drive by asking residents to email their friends and relatives to come visit this area during 2009. OurTown50 ran a similar program after 9/11/01 which resulted in a spectacular tourist season for area businesses given the state of the nation.

The publication is an inovator that impacts on the local quality of life advocating many programs and initiatives that have enhanced this area. One of the local County Commissioners even noted how pro-active the publication is in being a resident advocate.
