FREMONT, Calif. – eTouch SamePage, a dynamic enterprise wiki, today announced its new software version 4.0 is now available for university students to use at no charge.
Students with a valid .edu email address can sign up at http://samepage.spwiki.com and include up to five users in their group. Students can use SamePage to help manage a number of projects, including writing group papers and collaborating with members of a project group on documents and discussion boards. The interface is user friendly and utilizes a WYSIWYG editor, so students don’t need technical expertise.
"Students are among the most technologically capable and can grasp the application of web 2.0 technologies, like wikis, to improve their academic lives,” said Aniruddha Gadre, CEO of eTouch Systems. "In addition, students who become comfortable with new technologies during their studies will be better equipped when joining the workforce. The latest release of SamePage enables direct content creation between the wiki and web sites, useful for students working on research projects and papers. In addition, SamePage v. 4.0 users can create and collaborate around charts and tables with new database and chart plug-ins.

SamePage is utilized by academic institutions, including Loyola Marymount University which recently selected to integrate SamePage for use by several departments. In addition, Siemens selected SamePage as the wiki solution for a collaboration portal it developed for the National Institute of Education in Singapore.
